Landlords
The UK and Scottish Governments are currently reviewing new regulations that would require all rental properties to achieve an EPC rating of at least C in order to continue being legally rented out.

My services are completely free, and I work to secure funding to cover the cost of energy efficiency upgrades — whether you own one property or a whole portfolio.

Do I Qualify?
Qualifying for ECO4 funding is a simple two-step process, and checking is completely free.
Step 1: Check if someone living in the property qualifies
Funding isn’t always based on income alone. There are a range of factors that can make a household eligible, such as:
- Having children in the home
- Residents aged 65 or over
- Medical conditions like asthma or mobility issues
- Even the area the property is located in
Because there are so many ways to qualify, it’s always best to check with me — it’s quick, easy, and completely free.
Step 2: Check if the property qualifies
If the household meets the eligibility criteria, the next step is a free property survey. This survey checks what improvements can be installed through the scheme — such as insulation, heating upgrades, or solar panels — and ensures the funding will cover the work.
This two-step process makes it straightforward to find out whether both the household and the property qualify for fully funded energy-saving upgrades.
Who Completes the Work?
I work with a carefully selected list of tried and tested installers, each with their own areas of expertise. Some specialise in flats, while others are more experienced with older or rural properties. Each installer also works with different levels of funding, which can affect what upgrades are possible.
By working with me, you’ll have support throughout the entire process — from pre-installation checks, through to the installation itself, and even post-installation follow-up. Because I collaborate with multiple installers, I can match your specific project with the installer most likely to succeed in securing funding and delivering the upgrades efficiently.
This approach gives you the best chance of a smooth, successful project that meets your home’s needs and makes the most of available funding.
Funding Timescales
ECO4 funding is available on a first-come, first-served basis and can be withdrawn at any time. The scheme is scheduled to run until March 2026, or until the funding pot runs out — whichever comes first.
